About the talk: High-net-worth clients seemingly breathed a sigh of relief when 2021 ended without significant tax reform.  However, the political landscape hasn’t changed, and neither has the current law, which means the estate tax exemption will be cut in half in less than four years.  Wealthy clients are not out of the woods yet with possible tax reform, and it remains essential for them to be proactive with their estate and tax planning.  This presentation will provide professionals with an update of the estate and tax planning landscape for wealthy clients in 2022 along with planning trends from 2021, and essential strategies to consider going forward.
